The Tender, Inc.

an organization serving seniors in Burlington County, needs more volunteers 18 or older to drive frail elderly people to medical or other appointments and take them shopping and to work directly with clients in the day center, helping with games, crafts and other activities and with snacks and lunch.  Volunteers receive training and orientation.  While day center volunteers are asked to commit to the same day each week, the commitment for transportation volunteers is flexible; they can choose assignments that fit their personal schedules.  To volunteer or for more information, please contact The Tender at 856-234-5999.
